The federal program that ensures the right to vote for military service members, families and overseas citizens has cast an RFP for a communications firm.
The Federal Voting Assistance Program seeks an agency for PR, brand planning and other communications tasks to disseminate non-partisan messages and information about voting overseas in US elections.
The RFP notes that FVAP experiences "high and low service years" – even-numbered and odd-numbered years, respectively. The agency search comes ahead of a 2016 presidential election.
Proposals are due May 6. View the RFP (PDF).
