grtcThe public transit system for Richmond, Va., is reviewing its outside PR and lobbying counsel with an RFP process through the end of the month.

The Greater Richmond Transit Company, a not-for-profit owned by the city and Chesterfield County, runs 47 ruotes in the region for eight million passenger rides each year.

GRTC wants a firm to "present" its service as key to the quality of life and economic development in the central Virginia region "and to convey messages that GRTC is an integral, multifaceted part of life" in the area, according to the RFP.
