The appointment is part of a push to combine the firm’s traditional public affairs and stakeholder relations with the necessity of digital engagement.

“Caitlin understands the importance of marrying digital and traditional strategies, but she also knows how Washington works and what makes decision makers take notice,” said Curley Company president and CEO Jennifer Curley.

Donahue brings experience from her time as VP of public affairs at CRAFT | Media/Digital, where she directed integrated media campaigns on issues such as health care, tax reform and data security.  Prior to CRAFT, Donahue was senior director of political advocacy at the National Restaurant Association.

“Without authentic messaging, reputation management and stakeholder engagement, a digital strategy can be like shouting into an empty room,” Donahue said.
