Steinreich Communications Group has promoted Sheila Long O’Mara to VP and day-to-day leader of its home furnishings industry and trade division. She joined the firm a year ago as content manager.

Sheila Long O'MaraO’Mara has spent more than 25 years in journalism, launching Home Furnishings Business magazine and serving as its editor. Before that, she spent eight years with Furniture Today as upholstery editor, fabric editor and editor in chief of its Kids Today publication.
“Since joining us, Sheila has had a tremendously positive impact on our clients due to her deep understanding and appreciation of the home furnishings business,” said Steinreich Communications Group president and CEO Stan Steinreich. “She has been a real asset to our clients and a great ambassador to the industry for our brand.”
O’Mara will continue to report to SVP Ellyn Small who’s in charge of Steinreich’s consumer products division.
