5W Public Relations is handling PR for the Republic of Turkey on behalf of international law firm (London and Washington offices) Amsterdam & Partners.

CEO Ronn Torossian reports to high-profile attorney Robert Amsterdam (75 percent owner of A&P), who made the rounds last month in conjunction with President Recep Erodogan's visit with Donald Trump in Washington.

The two leaders, according to press reports, discussed Trump’s decision to arm Kurdish militants in their effort against the Islamic State (Erodogan considers Turkey’s Kurdish population rebels).

They also discussed Turkey’s demand for the extradition of cleric Fethullah Gulen, an exile who is hunkered down in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. Turkey blames Gulen for last year's botched coup attempt.

Amsterdam told The Record of New Jersey that a string of charter schools run by Gulen in the US are "literally an attempt to develop sleeper cells."

Erdogan’s DC visit was marred somewhat by the thuggish treatment of protestors by his security team.

5W’s six-month contract is pegged at $60K. Torossian declined to comment about his firm’s work for A&P.
