(For the first time in nearly a century, members of the public were allowed to walk on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier plaza and lay flowers before the sacred memorial site in Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.) As we celebrate Veterans Day, let us remember once again the sacrifices that the men and women of our Armed Forces have made, and let us pause to honor all those, living and dead, who have served our nation in war and peace. |
