NIKE promotes KeJuan Wilkins to succeed Nigel Powell as the company’s EVP, chief communications officer, effective June 1. Wilkins has been with Nike since 2006, most recently serving as vp, global enterprise communications. Before coming to Nike, he held roles in the athletic footwear industry and with the New York Knicks. In his new role, he will lead all global corporate, consumer and employee communications for the company. “KeJuan is a best-in-class communications expert who is well poised to help lead us into Nike’s next growth phase,” said Nike president and CEO John Donahoe. “His knowledge, insights, and forward-thinking will be great assets to our executive leadership team.”

Yieldstreet, a private market investing platform, hires former E*TRADE chief marketing officer Lea Stendahl as CMO. Stendahl joins Yieldstreet from Suffolk Construction, where she held the CMO spot. She has also served as managing director of brand and marketing communications for TD Ameritrade. At Yieldstreet, Stendahl will be responsible for driving growth across the company’s key verticals. “Her deep expertise across performance marketing, brand management, and business development—especially within direct-to-consumer finance—made her the perfect fit,” said Yieldstreet founder and CEO Milind Mehere.

Development Counsellors International appoints Pamela Laite as director of business events. Laite has been with the DCI team since 2020, working with such clients as the Vienna Convention Bureau and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau. She previously held senior positions at the Fredericton Convention Centre, Tourism Toronto and Attractions Ontario. In her new post, Laite will lead the DCI team to help destinations attract North American meeting and incentive business. “Pamela has proven herself consistently by leading marketing efforts to boost RFPs, to create community-based approaches to business events travel, and to secure group business for clients,” said Karyl Leigh Barnes, president of DCI’s Tourism Practice.
