Jonathan Collegio, who directed communications for Republican Super PAC American Crossroads, has moved to the National Automobile Dealers Association as VP of public affairs.
Collegio leads communications and marketing for the McLean, Va.-based trade group for 16,000 new car and truck dealers.
David Hyatt held the VP/PA role at NADA until stepping down after 14 years in November.
He has been with American Crossroads since 2010, when GOP advisor Karl Rove and ex-Republican National committee chair Ed Gillespie formed the advocacy juggernaut.
Collegio has trade group experience with a stint as VP of strategic initiatives for the National Association of Broadcasters, where he handled the digital TV transition. He worked on the Hill for Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.).
