National Aeronautics and Space Administration has launched a request for information covering a broad range of communications services.

Those areas include media and entertainment relations “to provide a transparent and accurate representation of NASA’s work that earns positive media coverage in a timely manner.”

NASA wants partners to develop “communications plans outlining event goals, implementation details, target audiences, measures, strategy, communication channels, informing media and stakeholders about NASA missions and activities,” according to the RFI.

The space agency wants firms to collaborate with stakeholder engagement groups, develop robust relationships with reporters to amplify NASA’s messages, handle issues management, conduct social media activities, manage websites and monitor global media.

If NASA decides to go forward with the solicitation, it will award three or four five-year contracts.

Deadline to respond to the RFI is Feb. 23. Responses go to [email protected].
