Omaha, Nebraska is requesting proposals from agencies that can provide marketing advertising services for the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau, the official tourism authority for the Cornhusker State’s largest city.

The OCVB serves as Omaha’s destination marketing organization and promotes the destination as a great visitor getaway as well as a desirable location to hold conventions and meetings.

The OCVB is seeking a full-service advertising agency that can design and implement a yearly media campaign, support the organization’s advertising and promotional strategy and promote the city of Omaha as a unique regional leisure destination and national convention/meeting location.

Scope of the work includes developing a campaign and messaging strategy, media planning and placement, search engine marketing and SEO, social media work, media relations functions and research.

Terms of the contract are slated to run for four years, with the possibility to extend for an additional two one-year terms. Budget allocated for the work is $3 million annually, which includes strategic planning, creative direction, graphic design, production of necessary collateral, media purchasing and placement.

Bidding agencies should submit one original and two copies of their proposals, along with two electronic copies on flash drives. All envelopes should be labeled “Marketing Advertising Services for Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau.”
