City Parks Foundation is looking to hire a firm to handle PR connected to its arts programming, which includes New York City’s largest free outdoor festival, SummerStage.

Committed to transforming NYC’s parks into dynamic and thriving urban centers of life through sports, arts, community building and educational programing, the Foundation reached more than 300K per year prior to the pandemic.

The SummerStage festival presents about 70 free performances and concerts annually featuring American pop, Latin and global music, dance, spoken word and theater.

CPF’s desired firm has expertise in the performing arts space and a proven track record in live events.

It will handle weekly show promotion for SummerStage, manage show press attendance, take charge of the press pit in Manhattan’s Central Park and sites in NYC’s other four boroughs.

The firm also will promote SummerStage Anywhere (digital shows), Charlie Parker Jazz Festival, Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre, PuppetMobile, CPF’s gala and special events.

The work will run from March through October.
