Hutchins, Texas is requesting proposals from agencies providing professional marketing services.

The Dallas County city, which has a population of approximately 6,400, is bordered by Dallas and sits nine miles south of that city’s downtown.

Hutchins is looking for an agency with experience in municipal marketing and strategic planning that can craft and launch a coordinated branding initiative and strategy for the purpose of raising awareness of the city as a desirable place to live and work as well as driving regional retail and restaurant traffic.

Scope of the work includes updating Hutchins’ logo design in a variety of digital file formats and sizes; creating a new tagline; devising a new mission, vision, and value statement; developing a brand style guide; and making recommendations for identifying and articulating the city’s purpose, desires and values.

Terms of the contract call for a one-year commitment, with an option to extend the agreement at the city’s discretion.

Proposals are due by 5 p.m. (CT) on Dec. 15 and should be submitted electronically via the Bonfire e-Procurement platform.

Bidding agencies should also submit eight hard copies of their proposals (in a package marked “Proposal for Professional Marketing Services—Rebranding Initiative”) to:
