MedGlobal, a Rolling Meadows (IL) nonprofit that provides medical and health education services to refugees and displaced persons in disaster-affected and underserved countries, is looking for a marketing and communication director.
The organization is active in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Bangladesh, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Mexico and Ukraine.
The selected person will be responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of the communications program to enhance MedGlobal's image and position in the marketplace and among the general public.
He or she will be in charge of the editorial direction of MedGlobal and ensure regular contact with target media outlets.
The job requires somebody with demonstrated skills, knowledge and at least five years of experience working in the non-profit sector.
The hired individual will work remotely in the US and report to MedGlobal’s executive director.
