City of Philadelphia

Philadelphia’s Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity has budgeted $550K for a PR firm to promote its activities, programs and events.

The CEO serves thousands of low-income Philadelphians through initiatives focused on employee services, housing security, income support and youth development strategies.

The goal is to “provide leadership on issues of economic justice by advancing racial equity and inclusive growth to ensure that all Philadelphians might share in the city’s prosperous future,” according to the RFP.

Due to the CEO’s recent merger with the city’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service and Philly Counts, CEO lacks brand consistency.

The selected firm will focus on delivering on CEO’s brand promise and strategy development, PR, materials design and production and mass communications.

Proposals are due Jan. 4 at the eContract Philly portal.
