Jefferson County, Florida is soliciting proposals from firms that can provide tourism marketing services.

Named after President Thomas Jefferson, Jefferson County was founded in 1827. Located in the Big Bend region of the Sunshine State’s Panhandle, it counts a population of about 15,000. Its county seat is Monticello.

The Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners is looking for an agency that can develop annual and long-range marketing/action plans, creative advertising concepts and strategy recommendations and provide advertising, public relations, promotional and collateral services.

Scope of the work includes: devising marketing plans to reach targeted markets; providing creative advertising concepts and strategies; designing and producing print, broadcast, online and all collateral materials (including logos); developing media plans (both traditional and digital); recommending and overseeing web and social media content development; providing PR, publicity and promotional plans to stimulate tourism (including cooperative advertising opportunities); outlining tracking recommendations; and attending monthly Jefferson County TDC meetings.
