Gary F. Grates is President and CEO, at GConsulting Group (GCG) a communications consultancy and advisory firm specializing in business transformation, corporate relevance, employee engagement, and organizational communications excellence.His career spans corporate and agency including heading corporate communications at General Motors/North America, establishing the global change and employee engagement business at Edelman, and Principal at Real Chemistry, the largest global healthcare communications firm, where he established the corporate/strategy portfolio as a member of the leadership team. He is sought after speaker globally on internal communications and change management.
Grates was recently awarded Outstanding Adjunct Professor at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications where he has taught for 23 years. He is also co-chair of the Weiss Center for Social Commerce at Syracuse University. He is a member of Page, a Trustee at IPR, and a Board member of the Plank Center.
