Angela Gillespie, who returned to W2O two years ago as healthcare practice leader & chief strategy officer, has been named president of its W2O wcg unit. She reports to Jennifer Gottlieb, W2O president.
Gillespie has more than 20 years of healthcare marketing experience, supporting the initiatives of pharmaceutical, consumer health, device/diagnostic and payer/provider networks.
She exited WCG in 2010 for a series of key posts at Boston Scientific (clinical strategist/educator), Covidien (venous vascular therapies unit market development leader) and NeuWave Medical (VP-marketing).
"Angela took a leap mid-way through her career, evolving her skill set to become today's necessary hybrid marketing and communications professional," said Gottlieb in a statement.
She considers Gillespie "a formidable and well-regarded force in healthcare."
Gillespie owns Gillespie Family Wines in Argentina.
