Abby Bailey, who headed corporate communications for Fedex in its Middle East, India and Africa region, has joined Teneo as managing director in Dubai.
At Fedex, she handled reputational issues, internal/external communications, philanthropy and the roll-out of new services.
Bailey also helped promote the debut of electric and autonomous vehicles in the region.
Prior to joining the delivery service, Bailey worked in Brussels as marketing and communications director for EDANA, the trade association of more than 250 companies producing high-tech engineered fabrics.
Bailey will counsel Teneo’s clients in regulatory and policy support, crisis management, strategic decisionmaking and reputational development issues.

Senior-most communications executives in the Fortune 500 earned between $50,000 and $100,000 more this year than they did two years ago, according to a recent survey of chief communications officers.

The pressure is on PR pros to make sure corporate messaging remains clear and cohesive. Business jargon is an obstacle to achieving this goal.
In today's volatile world of constant disruption, the ability to offer reliability and dependability is more valuable than ever.
