Whitney Fogelberg, a partner in Kirkland & Ellis’ restructuring group, has joined C Street Advisory Group’s strategic communications unit as a managing director based in Chicago.
With almost 20 years of legal experience, Fogelberg has handled Chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, liability management transactions, and special situations for clients such as Yellow Corp., Chesapeake Energy, STX Filmworks and PGX Holdings.
C Street founder/CEO Jon Henes said he’s worked with Fogelberg “as a lawyer and witnessed her ability to connect with clients and navigate the most complex situations with confidence and clarity.”
Fogelberg will co-head C Street’s new Chicago office with senior VP Lisa Kornblatt.
