According to Foreign Agents Registration Act documents filed in February, Cooke Robotham will support Sudan on political activities that include engagement with U.S. government officials regarding possible U.S. government support for Sudanese debt relief.

Cooke Robotham is serving as a sub-contractor through the UKMEA division of multinational law firm Dentons, the largest law firm in the world.

The contract fetches Cooke Robotham a fee of $300,000. The work is being funded through the African Legal Support facility, an international organization affiliated with the African Development Bank that provides legal advice and technical assistance to African countries.

Sudan has recently signed pacts with White & Case and Watts Partners.
