Donald Trump won the 2024 Presidential election, in part, by connecting with audiences in a digital ecosystem that is quickly becoming Americans’ primary source of news, reaffirming his standing as an “anti-establishment” candidate that meets audiences on the margins outside of mainstream media influence.

After enduring yet another close call with death, Donald Trump might have earned one final opportunity to alter the public relations calculus and convince Americans to vote for him.
With less than 90 days before the election, many PR challenges and opportunities await Vice President Kamala Harris as she seeks to define a White House-winning brand in the minds of voters.
What’s discrediting about Trump, to everyone who works in the communications field, is that he’s running not for president, but for dictator—and in dictatorships, companies don’t need to be accountable to public opinion at all, because they can exert their will through other means.
