Mod Op acquires Cleveland-based AMG Marketing Resources, the parent company of strategic marketing agencies Tenlo and NSRC. The acquisition, which bolsters Mod Op's presence in the Midwest, follows Alterna Equity Partners' recent investment in Mod Op. AMG will serve as Mod Op's Ohio office. AMG Marketing Resources chief executive officer Kip Botirius and vice president, UX & technology strategy Tessa Burg will join the Mod Op senior leadership team as executive vice president and senior vice president of technology, respectively. "We search for companies that both complement and expand our range of services," said Mod Op CEO Eric J. Bertrand. "AMG provides Mod Op with both; expanding the agency's digital services and adding new team members to support client and agency growth."

Chicago-based myWHY Agency and Miami-based Lebec Consulting have formed a partnership that will work with clients in the philanthropic; impact investing; and environmental, social, and governance space. The partnership is intended to combine myWHY's integrated marketing; brand strategy; public relations; and diversity, equity and inclusion experience with Lebec's expertise across philanthropy, impact investing and ESG investing. Their first collaboration will be on behalf of Water.org; a nonprofit co-founded by social entrepreneur Gary White and actor Matt Damon that has leveraged microfinance to enhance access to safe water and sanitation for 43 million people to date.
