Neathawk360, the media solutions division of Richmond-based NDP, has been selected by the City of Roanoke as media partner for an initiative addressing pedestrian safety. The project is funded in part by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. Neathawk360 will be working as part of a team led by Alta Planning + Design to create a media plan aimed at connecting with both drivers and pedestrians to encourage safer behaviors. Neathawk360 will offer media planning and buying, analytics, measurement and reporting, as well as digital marketing and creative design. NDP/Neathawk360 also works with DMV on a number of other transportation safety issues as well as with the Virginia State Police on the Help Eliminate Auto Theft and Insurance Fraud Programs.

Tot Squad

Red Fan Communications is partnering with Tot Squad, a curated marketplace for parenting-related services. Red Fan will work with Tot Squad founder and CEO Jennifer Saxton and her team to build awareness around the company’s virtual and in-person services. Tot Squad connects pregnant women as well as families with infants and young children to such support services as lactation support, sleep consulting and car seat installations. Tot Squad’s legacy business, its baby-gear cleaning and repair service, was recently acquired by BabyQuip, a baby-gear rental service. Red Fan is a HUB-certified woman-owned business.


Firecracker PR has been selected as agency of record by Li-Cycle, a Toronto-based company focused on advanced Lithium-Ion battery resource recovery. Firecracker will provide media relations and thought leadership activities for the company as it increases capacity and opens new facilities throughout America in the next twelve months. Li-Cycle says its core business model is to build, own, and operate lithium-ion battery recycling plants tailored to regional needs. It plans to open its second commercial facility in North America in Rochester, NY later this year.
