Chris Tang, managing director of The Hoffman Agency’s Asia-Pacific region, will become CEO of Huntsworth’s operations there on Feb. 1.
Based in Beijing, Tang will take over the duties of Singapore-headquartered Bob Pickard, who assumes a slot in the newly created office of the chairman/Asia-Pacific. He’ll focus on client development, new business and global communications for Asia’s multinationals.
Tang will manage Huntsworth’s relations with China’s BlueFocus, which has a $50M investment in the British conglomerate headed by Peter Chadlington.
At Lou Hoffman’s shop, Tang was in charge of offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Seoul.
Prior to THA, she spent eight years at Text 100 after it acquired her firm, Elite Consulting Ltd. in Beijing.
