Gagnier Communications handles Authentic Restaurant Brands as it acquires Fiesta Restaurant Group, which uses Joele Frank, in a deal worth $225M.
ARB is a portfolio company of Garnett Station Partners.
Dallas-based Fiesta is parent of the Pollo Tropical chain, which has 137 units in the US, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.
It becomes part of ARB’s platform that includes Primanti Bros Restaurant & Bar, Mambo Seafood and P.J. Whelihan’s Pub & Restaurant.
“Pollo Tropical restaurants are a mainstay on the dining scene throughout Florida and we are confident that ARB is a perfect partner to harness the power of the brand for the future,” said Alex Macedo, ARB chairman.
Gagnier Communications’ Dan Gagnier and Lindsay Barber represent ARB and Garnett Station.
Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher’s Matthew Sherman, Aaron Palash and Nick Jannuzzi handle Fiesta.
