Maggie Moran, who is well-connected in New Jersey and New York Democratic politics, has established Moxie Strategies in Asbury Park, NJ.
She advised Jersey Senators Frank Lautenberg and Jon Corzine, and served as campaign manager for NY Governor Andrew Cuomo’s re-election bid.
Most recently, Moran ran Tammy Murphy’s bid for the Jersey Senate seat held by Bob Menendez.
She launched M Public Relations in 2022, sold it to Kivvit in 2015 and exited as managing director in 2022.
Executive VPs Jeannine LaRue, and Pearl Gabel join Moran at Moxie.
LaRue, who was VP-PA at Rutgers University, deputy chief of staff to Corzine, and SVP at Saint Barnabus Health Care System, oversees strategy & business development.
Gabel, who was director of brand strategy at Kivvit, and digital director for New York and the New York Mayor’s Office, handles creative & content.
Moxie will offer corporate communications, crisis, coalition building, social media, DEI analysis/planning, campaign, community relations, advertising, policy & positioning research, influence profiling and media analytics services.
