Professional organization the Association for Applied Sport Psychology has named New York-based PR agency The Rosen Group its agency of record.
The partnership becomes effective December 1.
AASP is an international organization that offers member certification and promotes the development of science and ethics in the field of sport psychology, an interdisciplinary science whose professionals work with athletes, coaches, performers and staff of high-risk occupations. The Indianapolis-based non-profit organization, which boasts more than 2,300 members in 57 countries, was founded in 1986.
The Rosen Group will now lead all media relations, brand awareness, social media and thought-leadership for the organization and helping AASP achieve its PR goals.
Full-service agency The Rosen Group, which was founded in 1984, has previously served as PR partner to industry associations such as the American Hotel & Lodging Association, American Wind Energy Association, Custom Content Council, Brewers Association, Magazine Publishers of America and College Savings Plans Network.
