Rasky Partners has brought on Marianne Smith as a vice president.
Smith has worked and consulted for several political campaigns at the state and national level, including serving in various roles on presidential campaigns from Michael Dukakis for President to Hillary for America. She has served as DNCC deputy director of podium operations, and was a key member of the transition teams for both the Clinton and Obama presidencies.
In addition to her campaign experience, Smith held various appointments in the public and private sector, including eight years of federal service at the White House Offices of Presidential Personnel, the National Archives and the Departments of Commerce and Transportation. She has also worked as a corporate vice president and business consultant to firms including Horne Engineering Services and Enviance, Inc., a cloud-based environmental, health, and safety software company.
In her new role, Smith will work on developing new business opportunities in the government and business communities. She will collaborate with the firm’s government relations team to assist clients in growing their federal business.
