Edelman has appointed Erica Barth as general manager of Edelman Chicago’s digital practice. Erica previously led Edelman’s performance marketing group in Chicago, growing it to include such capabilities as paid search, SEO, ABM and programmatic. Prior to joining Edelman, Erica held leadership roles at iProspect and Resolution Media, where she led client strategy, staffing and operations, and business development for the Midwest region. In her new position, Erica will oversee the Chicago digital team as well as partnering with global leaders to drive innovation across the digital practice.

LLYC has promoted Juan Carlos Gozzer to partner and regional managing director of the southern region and Cleber Martins to partner and managing director of LLYC Brazil. Gozzer has been with LLYC since 2008. In September 2012, he became LLYC's general director in Brazil, and has overseen the growth of the company with the opening of the Sao Paulo office and the integration of new teams and services following the acquisition of S/A Comunicaçoes in 2015. Cleber Martins came to LLYC in 2017. He previously served as vice president of Máquina Cohn & Wolfe, a WPP Group agency. With these two appointments, the firm now has 21 partners, of which 10 perform their professional activities in Latin America and the United States and 11 operate in Europe.

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed Heather Bull as a director in its energy and industrials team. Bull comes to H+K Strategies from Edelman’s brand practice, where she oversaw UK consumer-facing campaigns and led EMEA teams for such clients as Kiwi, HP, Motorola, Nissan, PayPal, Shell and Starbucks. She previously spent six years at Hotwire, managing accounts including BlackBerry, Logic3, O2, Shazam, talk talk and Vodafone. In her new position, Bull will support the team’s consumer offering across clients including Smart Energy GB, Shell, E.ON and Go Ultra Low, as well as driving new business. Bull’s appointment follows the recent recruitment of Scott Dodsworth from BAE Systems to head up H+K’s public affairs team in the UK.
