Philippe Krakowsky, chief strategy & talent officer at Interpublic, has been promoted to COO of the advertising/PR combine.
With IPG since 2002, the 57-year-old executive engineered last year’s $2.3B acquisition of Acxiom’s data management business.
Chairman/CEO Michael Roth, 73, said Krakowsky helped create IPG’s “open architecture model” and its “distinctive culture.”
Krakowsky will continue to chair Mediabrands and have oversight of Acxiom, Carmichael Lynch, Deutsch, Hill Holiday, Huge and R/GA.
