Lumentum Holdings, which manufactures optical and photonic products, names Caroline Pan SVP and CMO. Pan joins Lumentum from venture-backed software and robotics company Bright Machines, where she also served as CMO. She previously held several executive posts at Honeywell, establishing the company’s corporate marketing function and leading strategy, innovation, and ventures for its safety & productivity solutions business. In her new position, Pan will be responsible for leading strategic marketing, corporate marketing and communications, and Lumentum Ventures, a company-wide initiative to drive market expansion. “Caroline's diverse portfolio of global experience, deep domain knowledge across industry sectors, and proven track record of delivering high impact business results make her an important and timely addition to our executive leadership team," said Lumentum president and CEO Alan Lowe.
Tests Assured, a provider of assurance testing for emerging technologies, hires Gordon Bell as its first vice president of marketing. Bell was previously VP of marketing at semiconductor manufacturer Energous Corporation. Prior to Energous, Bell was president at Prosoft Engineering and held a variety of sales and marketing roles at ELSA GMBH, Media 100 and other companies. He has also served as a member of the board of directors and on the marketing advisory panel for the AirFuel Alliance, an independent, nonprofit consortium working to establish wireless charging standards. "Gordon's proven ability to establish and expand technology brands in the global market made him a natural addition to our leadership team during this time of rapid growth," said Tests Assured founder Imad Abdelgawad.
Amprius Technologies, which produces ultra-high energy density lithium-ion batteries, appoints Scott Zafiropoulo as senior director of marketing. Zafiropoulo was most recently SVP, sales & marketing at medical technology company PrinterPrezz, where his duties included working to build customer engagement and pipeline, and developing corporate and product marketing assets. At Ampirus, Zafiropoulo he will be tasked with overseeing the newly public company’s marketing strategy and building its brand presence. “Scott’s expertise in successfully scaling technology companies aligns with our mission to bring Amprius’ ultra-high energy density batteries to the forefront of the electrification movement,” said Ampirus CEO Dr. Kang Sun.
