Narrative Strategies hires Matt Moon as managing director. Moon was deputy executive director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee during the 2022 election cycle. He previously served as VP of advocacy at Business Roundtable, and he has also been a vp at Rasky Baerlin (now Rasky Partners). “Matt brings to Narrative a wealth of experience that will provide our clients with valuable strategies, insights, and account leadership skills from day one,” said Narrative Strategies founding partner Ken Spain. “His skills have been sharpened across the spectrum of advocacy, politics, and public affairs.”

BrightNight, a renewable power producer, brings on Russell Wilkerson as CCO. Wilkerson was most recently chief corporate affairs officer for energy technology company Baker Hughes. Before that, he spent 12-years at GE, leading financial communications and teams at GE Power and GE Capital. In his new position, Wilkerson is tasked with developing and driving a strategic communications strategy and integrated stakeholder engagement plan to build BrightNight's brand, market position, and commercial leadership. "Russell is a deeply experienced business leader, who understands the various communications needs of our stakeholders - both internal and external - and has managed some of the most important and recognized brands in the world,” said BrightNight CEO Martin Hermann.

Howard University promotes Misha Cornelius to director of public relations in the Office of University Communications. Cornelius has been a member of Howard University’s public relations team since 2018. Before coming to Howard, she was part of the communications team for Advancement Project’s schoolhouse to jailhouse program, where she provided communications and public relations support to organizations campaigning against the school-to-prison pipeline. As director of public relations, Cornelius will lead the University’s media outreach and communications strategy. “She has already begun leading the team’s efforts to communicate the Howard voice in an exciting, and often challenging media landscape,” said Howard vice president and chief communications officer Frank Tramble.

4media group names Kevin West chief operating officer as part of a newly formed global executive leadership team. West comes to 4media from MultiVu, Cision’s media strategy and production unit, where he was senior vice president, multimedia. Duncan Purves has also joined the firm as UK CEO, following 4media group’s acquisition of Stature PR. Purves had been managing director at Stature PR. Other changes to the leadership change include former global COO Michael Clark, who is now chief communications officer; managing director Laura Pair, who is now chief business officer; and Melissa Elsner, who has been promoted from vice president, transformation strategy to chief technology officer.
