Fox News has dropped Tucker Carlson, its top-rated talking head, from its line-up and will replace his show with a new program.
“We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” Fox News said in a statement.
The new program, “Fox News Tonight,” begins at 8 p.m. on April 24.
It will be anchored by a rotating casts of hosts until a permanent host is named.

Among others, the New York Times should bow its editorial head in shame for the massive space given to the Carlson firing in its Sunday Opinion section of April 30. Time to move on to real news about real journalists instead of Murdoch manufactured millionairs.
Of course, most except for Vladimir Putin of whom Carlson said was never an accuser of the Tucker, will be pleased for the half cleansing job sending the resident Murdoch millionaire to the dog house....HALF cleansing because, Hannity and his vanity will have to be given same treatment to make journalistic professionalism somehow finally begin to emerge at Fox
