On June 27, Casetext entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Thomson Reuters for $650M, subject to regulatory reviews. 5WPR is responsible for media relations management on behalf of Casetext, working to amplify the brand’s AI innovations across the broader media landscape. The company recently launched CoCounsel, which it bills as the world’s first AI legal assistant. “5W was a huge part of our successful CoCounsel launch,” said Casetext co-founder and chief innovation officer Pablo Arredondo.
