Kristie Kuhl, who formerly filled executive vice president slots at Cohn & Wolfe and Makovsky & Company, has moved to Finn Partners, where she assumes the role of senior partner of that agency's health shop.
Kuhl will now be responsible for Finn Partners’ range of pharmaceutical efforts, which includes biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and specialty pharma.
In previous positions, Kuhl led communications campaigns for big-name pharmaceutical products. Finn Partners Managing Partner and Global Health Practice Director Gil Bashe called Kuhl a “noted pioneer on biosimilars and orphan drugs communications," and noted that her legal knowledge of the regulatory environment will offer the firm an insight critical for navigating today’s health landscape.
“Kristie has been on the frontlines addressing reimbursement, pricing, drug approvals and patient advocacy concerns, and helping clients navigate the social media landscape and other issues that dominate planning urgencies,” said Bashe. “Clients have tapped her to lead numerous agency brand communications campaigns.”
Tim Turpin, who led the venture capital and emerging technologies practices at Sparkpr during a more than 16-year run, has joined CodePR, a boutique shop focused on the VC arena.
