Colin McBean has been hired by Japanese pharmaceuticals house Astellas as senior director of product and brand communications, a new post.
Based in Chicago, he'll handle launches, corporate reputation and US branding. McBean reports to Moyra Knight, executive director of communications and corporate citizenship.
McBean moves to Astellas from Archer Daniels Midland, where he worked as director of corporate communications.
He also did stints as Baxalta (senior director brand & reputation), Abbott (senior director content marketing), Chrysler (manager external communications), Burson-Marsteller and GolinHarris.
