BerlinRosen and its private equity investor O2 Investment Partners have taken a majority stake in New York-based M18 PR, a real estate, hospitality and design specialist.
Launched in 2010, M18 has run campaigns for more than 200 projects and represents clients in more than 40 cities in the US and overseas. It has teams in Los Angeles and Miami.
M18 will retain its brand and continue to be led by co-founders CEO Michael Tavani and COO Meg McGinnis.
Tavani said M18 is eager to team with BerlinRosen and the “platform of best-in-class agencies that it has created.”
The deal will provide M18 access to the resources of a collection of specialized firms and to executive talent across various service areas, he added.
BerlinRosen has more than 400 staffers.
